Strategic Land Park Lane West Midlands
Land south of Park Lane and Kenilworth Road, Balsall Common is being promoted for mixed use development through the Solihull Local Plan Review.
Once constructed HS2 will run along the east of Balsall Common. Park Lane has been realigned to run adjacent to HS2. This site will therefore be largely bound to the north east by HS2 and to the south west by the existing west coast main line railway.
Rainier Developments are promoting this site to be removed from the Green Belt in the Solihull Local Plan Review and we consider the site has long term development potential for residential and commercial development once HS2 is delivered.
